The Rose, Thorn, and Bud retrospective is a simple but effective activity.

No matter how beautiful, every rose has thorns that can hurt you if you're not careful.

The rose metaphor allows you to address your team's successes, overcome the challenges encountered (the thorns), and take the time to seize opportunities (the buds).

• What value have you delivered to users?

Example: Thanks to our constant communication with Marketing, we managed to communicate the fair value of our latest feature.

🩸 Thorn

Identify any challenges or problems you encountered.

Nothing is more painful than putting your hand on a thorn when you are about to pick a rose.

Example: We did not cover all major scenarios during our manual testing. Results: we had to fix a lot of bugs in production.
